You know it's one of our favorite things to do on a Saturday morning. If you haven't experienced feeding the homeless with Leah's Hopes and Dreams, I highly recommend you join us. It will warm your heart to visit and bless our friends with a meal to start their day.

About the event
We're excited to serve breakfast to our homeless friends in Uptown Charlotte alongside the volunteers from Leah's Hopes & Dreams. Along with breakfast, we'll also hand out clothing and shoes. The most common items we're asked for are men's and women's shoes & clothing for warm weather. We encourage you to invite your friends and neighbors to join you in collecting supplies to bring.
Park at the back of Water Bean Coffee Shop (616 N. Tryon, Charlotte NC 28202) and meet us across the street at the wall next to the shower truck.
We will be providing breakfast. We need 10 to 15 volunteers. Please indicate the food you will be bringing when you sign up. Each person should bring enough food for 30 people. We will need enough food to serve 150 people. You may bring any additional foods along with what you sign up for.
We typically do hot breakfast sandwiches. They do enjoy breakfast egg casseroles as well.
